Hiking Dunbar Cave State Park (#826)

It is a delightful warm day here in Clarksville, Tennessee

My RV home is snuggled in at Spring Creek Park… a quiet secluded eden on the edge of town.

I visited Silkes Old World Bakery in town for a vegetarian pizza …then on to Dunbar Cave state park for a picnic and a hike.

The cave itself is closed until spring to allow for a peaceful hibernation for the cave’s bat inhabitants but several trails are open, scenic and challenging

View from Dunbar Cave entrance

In the spirit of new year resolve…I am getting out to commune with nature, discover new things, embrace joy…

Love…..annie

That’s a terrific resolution, but hardly necesssary for YOU. Sounds like a delightful park you’ve found there – caves are always a bonus. Happy trails, Annie!
