Dancing WIth Sea Lions (#734)

Tripping up the coast for the day to the town of Florence, Oregon.

I spotted this Sea Lion sculpture along Highway 101. Part of an artistic outdoor display created by several local artists.

What a great way to beautify the town, support the arts and give recognition to these amazing sea animals.

just like the ones they have in PA, remember stopping along the streets to photograph them in our travels? Road trip – what fun. Miss you

    • Oh yes, Sher, it was Bear sculptures in Boyertown on our way to and from the Daniel Boone Homestead with the sheep and the colonial homesteads. We got caught in a downpour. We discovered the shrine to Padre Pio along our way too. Our road trips were always so adventurous and fun. Miss you too, my friend.
