Oregon Huckleberries In Bloom (#733)

As part of my volunteer service at Umqua, I walk the trails and roadways doing a litter walk.  What I see as a nice hike in the woods picking up any litter I come across.

But also, I get to enjoy the surrounding presence of all the marvelous flora and fauna.

This is a huckleberry bush in bloom along the lake.  Pretty bell-shaped flowers with a delicate scent.

In summer, these will be beautiful blue edible huckleberries
