Extreme Goldilocks With A Basket (#708)

Chalked up #4 park here in Florida.  Beautiful live oaks, swimming pool, friendly people, and night-time truck noise from Interstate 75.

I am feeling like an Extreme Goldilocks: this one has no cell phone signal, that one wanted more hours, the other had “nasty squirrels that will chew up your car wiring”….uh, no thank you.

It truly has been a rewarding experience.  I am figuring out what I want by eliminating those things that I do not want.

Yesterday at Dade Battlefield state park where in “days of yore” the Seminole Indians kicked some serious US Calvary butt, I attended a  class on weaving with palm and saw palmetto leaves.

I made a Saw Palmetto Berry Basket,  guided by some awesome park volunteers.
