Largest Natural Lake? On It ~ (#676)

In California, the largest natural lake is Clear Lake.  It is 19 miles long by 8 miles wide (give or take a few feet).

On my way to the Pacific coast it was my last stop.  I found Northport RV park amongst the umpteen parks surrounding the lake.  By good fortune, I got to park right beside the lake.

Dragging my kayak a mere 20 feet over to the water, I was on the lake before I could plan on it.

In the distance is Mount Konocti, an ancient volcano.

I think it would be nice to park by a lake and splash the paddle in the water and glide across the smooth water. So relaxing.

Looks like you found a relaxing spot. Enjoy the solitude.
