Cadillac Smack (#662)

I love all the cars from the 1950s and 1960s.  Sometimes I see some that I never knew existed.

This beauty was captured on a recent trip to the grocery store in Edgewood, New Mexico.

Oh, to drive a dream of a car like this one……just once.

What a beauty and love the color too!

Oh, that has STYLE! But I wouldn’t want to pay the gasoline bills. Hahaha
It reminds me that when I lived in NM it was very common to see antique cars being driven on the roads. Not so much salt used in winter down there, so they don’t rust out like they do here in the northeast.I bought my ex a 1929 Ford Model A pickup truck down there for our anniversary. It was so much fun driving around Albuquerque in it! Thanks for the memory, Annie.

Campsite I was in last week hosted a French vintage car club, about a dozen 50’s and 60’s cars. Ironic that a French car club should all be driving British Jaguars!! Beautiful cars, said she, with a certain amount of national pride.

  5. Drive in it! You could live in that thing with a family of 4 and a dog. There wouldn’t be a place for the pool table probably, but that is a detail! Oh what a gorgeous object! Yay 1950 and 1960! cheers, S.

You’d look good in that car! What a sweet ride.
