I did not plan to drive my motorhome in a snow storm. In fact, when I awoke this morning at 4;30 it was not snowing. When I trudged outside in 22 degrees of cold to load my car at 6AM, it was not snowing.
When I was at the door saying to the family, Goodbye, I will miss you all so much…… the hordes of snowflakes flew. I was a bit concerned. Charlotte, my home on wheels is quite sturdy so I knew we would be okay. I was more concerned with the other nuts on the road.
Besides, everything was already packed up and yelling like a bunch of excited kids.
I figured since I was headed south the weather would improve quickly. And it did……..after the first 100 miles.
Here’s a “Do Not Do This” to add to the list of things I did and learned the hard way not to do. See those icicles hanging in the picture? Best to knock them off before you start driving……..even if your hands are numb from the cold.
