Mid-morning after a quick walk on the beach at Westport, I headed north for the town of Klamath, California (180 miles distance) where I am staying the night at a park on the banks of the Klamath River.
The weather is a balmy 63 with sunny skies and a little fog coming in off the ocean which is just around the river bend.
Camp host, Randy, came to greet me when I pulled in. He told me to pick any spot but that the nicest was by the river.
Then Kathleen came over and introduced herself. Told me she was in #4 if I needed anything.
I walked next door to a store that sells smoked salmon; sampled teriyaki, lemon pepper and garlic smoked salmon. I settled on the teriyaki salmon.
It is now 6pm Pacific Time. The fog is setting in thick over the river and I am snuggled in my cozy little home on wheels.
Thanks be for people who share their trust, respect and grace wherever I go ~
