Black Magic Squirrels (#407)

Legally imported from Canada in 1961, rare black squirrels thrive in Kent, Ohio.

They are a treat to see scampering around campus on my walks.

This months rain has brought out lots of white mushrooms which the squirrels love to pop off their stems and eat.

There’s always something out there to capture one’s attention.

If it’s not one thing; it’s another.

They are so pretty. Even if they are a rodent. I have only ever seen them in person in Germany. I never saw a black squirrel in my life until I went to Germany. They were everywhere!

Oh how cute! I haven’t seen them eating the mushrooms yet.
