What Am I Doing In Ohio??? (#397)

After a long hiatus, I am so very happy to be back sharing my life experiences and photos here in BlogLand.

Ohio.  Always passing through; not stopping.  Couldn’t see any reason to.

Until this year.

A whirlwind of activity has taken place within the past couple of months:

May, left my workamper job in New York, helped family in Pennsylvania pack up their belongings and sell off or give away excess items from their home, and finally in

June, after the sale of the house, helping the family move to Kent, Ohio for the start of youngest granddaughter’s college career at Kent State University.

Since being here,  one of the many places I have visited is the beautiful Cuyahoga National Park’s Brandywine Falls.

Boardwalk and Stairs leading to the falls.

The air was alive with fresh pine scents, the exhilarating sound of falling water

Along the boardwalk leading to the falls this emerald green bug was found enjoying the day with us.

Feels so good to be back online!

Great to have you back. Those falls look gorgeous as does that beetle. My neighbour and I found a female stag beetle on the path today (no camera handy) so we moved her to safety in the undergrowth as they are a protected species. Take care and enjoy being back on the road, Maggie x

Good to see your pictures again. Sure did miss them. And that is my thought too – what are you doing in Ohio? You should be in PA. Miss you and our walks and talks. Be safe, enjoy and can’t wait to see more pictures. Love the beetle.

  5. Good to have you back, Annie.
