Day 2 on my journey to Kentucky was all a-clutter with travel gliches. My day’s destination at Seneca Lake in Ohio turned out to be an ant hill of RVs side by side. I decided to move on.
Plan B was the Kanawha State Forest in West Virginia. But no cell phone signal. Onward again!
Meanwhile, the gas gauge was winding low and all I was seeing were gas stations with $3.79 and $3.85 a gallon. I said to myself wouldn’t it be nice to find a place with Pennsylvania gas prices!
Another few miles and there it was like a beacon in the sky: Love’s Travel Stop $3.55 a gallon. I was in gasoline heaven.
Full of gratitude I pulled off the road in Wiley, WV and filled the tanks on both vehicles. And with their bellies full went on to a peaceful little RV park for the night. After 11 hours and 400+ miles, the sea of slumber was but a whisper away!
Love, Annie
Happy Trails to You Annie!
