Where The Red Trillium Bloom (#181)

Take me where the red trillium bloom.

Along the wooded mountain trail.

My open-air cathedral

Lovingly, longingly calling me home.

Sweet essence of my soul.

By the grace of all that is good,

I am home.

Red Trillium Bloom in Pennsylvania

See you on down the road!

Love,   Annie

Pittsburgh, PA is home for me. The red trillium and your beautiful words made me think of the red cardinal which holds the same nostalgic charge for me.
