Quartzsite, Arizona is home for me and my tin can cottage. At least for the winter months.
I landed here last Thursday, got hired at my new job on Friday, started work Saturday at the Main Street Eatery (part of an eclectic arrray of businesses in the same location).
It was serendipity; pure and simple. I walked into the laundromat to do a load of wash. Then went next door to get some breakfast.
The owner remembered me from waiting on her last year at another town restaurant. She offered me a job and voila! I am a waitress at the Main Street Eatery.
It’s now a week later and I am loving my new job: waitressing 5 days a week from the crack of dawn up until the lunch crowd’s fed and gone.
When work is done, I still have most of the day ahead of me to wander or idle at will, to capture in photos the earth’s magical creations.
Just the other day I was watching an amazing sunset flare righteous bold colors and patterns throughout the western sky.
Here are some of those photos for your enjoyment.
Joy! Annie
Beautiful pictures. Keep them coming. I love your art work! Enjoy, my friend.
Amazing! I don’t wish that you were here, I wish I was there! Well…as long as the scorpions and tarantulas stayed away! ;D
I would love to have you all here. We could be gypsies together!
