A Picture Worth A Thousand (#352)

My work camping position this year is at Westport Beach RV Park in northern California. I do online reservations for the park, greet guests and in the off hours enjoy the magnificence of the ocean amid pristine surroundings.

It is so far north that the only internet is by satellite which is slow and spotty and prone to sleeping when the fogs roll in.  It’s a small sacrifice to make for being in Paradise.

Paradise indeed Annie. A beautiful part of the world with its own special connections! We once spent some time further up the road at Shelter Cove, run by another fabulous pioneer woman!

As the saying goes – “Picture Perfect”. Very beautiful beaches and I love the flowers along the rocky shoreline. Once again you nailed it!

I just got back from a trip of going up the northern part of California and the Oregon coast. You have a wonderful place to work at. It was cool up in Oregon. The beach makes me happy. It was always really windy in Oregon.

  7. I bet you had the time of your life! It’s windy here off and on. Lots of fog but then the sun burns it off and dries everything, We’re seeing smoke from the Laytonville forest fire just a few miles inland from Westport. Hope it didn’t hinder your travels.
