Grateful For The Novelty Of Snow (#245)

I heard it.  This morning at 3:00AM.  Rather, I heard the silence of it!  What could I do?!  I got out of bed to spy on it while it whirled through the air to the ground.

Yes, it snowed here.  Not much.  Enough to cover my world.  Enough to make me thankful that in my world, snow is a novelty.  Not often do I find myself this far north in the winter: a snowy south central Virginia day.

We had that here in Paradise this last Wednesday, now sunny. Little leftover snow by my driveway. Hope yours doesn’t last too long.
