Making A Handy Homey Gizmo For My Motorhome (#231)

Inspiration comes to me in many forms.  This time it was a very useful gizmo I saw hanging from the back of my neighbors’ motorhome.

I said  Hey, great idea!   They said  Hey, we’ll help you make one!  They really come in handy when you need them.

I sat and visualized finally having one.  Something I have done without for the seven years I have now been on the road in my tin can cottage.

Okay!  What did I need?

Two 5 foot sections of PVC pipe ( to be cut into various lengths)

Four PVC elbows, Four PVC end caps, Four PVC Tees, Glue

Twenty feet of line

Two hooks (I used ones from a bungee cord)

Now, guess what I made!  (here’s a photo of the work in progress)

Now what could this be???

Now what could this be???

Rest here a bit and think about it!

That will be handy to hang wet clothes on, it you find a dryer broken in the camp ground. I found that people hand wash their things and take up the driers and when I would get done with the wash, I could never get a drier because people would always take the driers.

Annie, this looks wonderful – and you have the bonus of sunshine through those lovely trees!
